Erin started her career in 1997 at a small editorial company called Look Mom No Hands. In 1999 she became the staff editor for Ground Zero Advertising where her clients included ESPN, California Department of Health (Anti-Smoking) and Activision among others. Her work for ESPN garnered her numerous awards including 4 Beldings, 4 One Show Awards and an Effie.
Erin’s love for story telling sparked a move in her career to include longer format and independently produced projects. She began her freelance career in December of 2001. It began with the critically acclaimed feature documentary on the band Wilco, entitled “I Am Trying To Break Your Heart”. Her instinctual timing and story telling skills shine when allowed the freedom of the long form genre. Her work includes music videos for artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Damien Rice, and Avril Lavigne as well as several short and feature length documentaries. One of which won the Emerging Filmmaker Showcase in the documentary category at the 2009 Cannes film festival.
The commercial work has also continued, cutting for Rubin Postaer and Associates, DraftFCB and Butler, Shine, Stern and Partners with clients including Taco Bell, Columbia Sportswear and Honda to name a few.
Erin signed with Optimus in February of 2009 where she is currently staff.
